The Boy Next Door by Meggin Cabbott. I liked this book a lot.

I read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks a couple weeks ago. A good sappy short read. I sent a copy to the bf too.

The Shopaholic Ties the Knot was really good. I read it on the beach on July 4.

If you're into suspense and mystery, anything by Mary Higgins Clark is good...plus it's easy reading too. Nicholas Sparks is really good and my favorite has to be The Notebook (I'm so excited that they're going to make a movie out of..about time!). If you want something cutesy in a fantasy world filled with puns and whatnot, try Piers Anthony's Xanth novels.

Thought your username reminded me of something. I used to read his books all the time, but lately haven't been so excited about them. Seems like the character development just isn't there as much anymore. Especially if you compare to his earlier Xanth novels or the Incarnations or Mode series. What's your opinion of this?

Yeah I agree with you. There's something missing and it's not only due to the fact that there appear new characters all the time. Most of his new books deal a lot with the demons and stuff and how they will partake in contests with the people in Xanth. I'll read them anyway though since he supposedly writes a new Xanth novel every year. It's been a while since I've read anything new.

There are no bad books by Florence King!! She's a little quirky, but she can get me laughing when nothing else can!

I had just finished reading "Traitor's Gate" by Anne Perry. I am now reading a novella called "A Dish Taken Cold" by the same author.

I am planning to read the alphabet series by Sue Grafton in the future. Has anyone read her novels? What do think of them?

I just finished Maneater by Gigi Levangie Grazer. i liked it although the main character definitely took things to extreme.

i just bought:

Straight Talking by Jane Green
Why Girls are Weird by Pamela Ribon

I'm looking forward to reading both. I've loved all the other Jane Green books (as mentioned many times in this thread) and I've heard Why Girls are Weird is very funny.
