My friend and I thought these were boy cut underwear, which is inappropriate enough, but no, they are shorts. You can even get your name on the waist band. I don't even see an inseam!

Where did you see this item? The name of the vendor should be reported to national headquarter's staff immediately. Off hand I cannot recall the persons name who specifically deals with this But I am certain Ladygreek would know the name.
