I have students who get this on their letterman jackets all the time. Anything a 14-17 year old child finds appealing I DO NOT WANT on any of my para!

See, that's what I am saying. If I see a neo, especially from my undergrad chapter, wearing such atrocious "nalia," I'ma.....

I say undergrad because I can't fathom a grad Soror even...hmmmm.....I just pray that grad Sorors wouldn't but one never knows.

I'd do my best to thoroughly trash ANY Bruh with that cup or any damned Burberry Letters.

Some stuff is just not hot.

Being that I along with my sister will be opening a retail store this fall, selling treasured and upstanding greek paraphernalia. I cannot fathom these things, a pimp cup!!! There is a high level of integrity that should go into the products these companies put D9 letters on. I can understand a creative product or unusual, but it MUST remain tasteful. I guess that is the edge my sister and I will have(hopefully) in this venture. WE are both members of D9 orgs, and we KNOW the protocals.

Sorry to intrude on you all’s thread, but Laidbackfella you should report this "Pimp Cup" thing to your National Head Quarters. Maybe I am being a little sensitive (if I am forgive me), but I would find a "Pimp Cup" with my organization's letters on it an insult to the vision of my founders. Some things just aren't cute, and that "Pimp Cup" is definitely not cute. As a Black Woman I am very conscious of how we as a people are perceived in popular culture, and this Pimp, Playa, Hustler and Hoe foolishness has gone way too far (all people of color are not on that page). The fact that someone even thought of the idea of marketing this crap to BGLO & Latino Greek Letter Organizations tells me a lot about what they think of us. I am not trying to turn this into a race discussion, but when I went to that site, I did not see any Caucasians modeling any of the paraphernalia advertised in this SPECIFIC ad. In fact, all of the models were African American or Latino. Did anyone else notice that? I wonder why they chose to use only African American and Latino models in this particular ad? Sorry everyone but I just could not ignore that observation.

Just my 2 cents....

Why would they use Caucasians if they aren't marketing to traditionally Caucasian GLOs? If one wants to reach a certain market, it would make sense to use models who reflect that market, I would think.

See, you're a neo who gets it.
I don't think any of the 20 neos in my chapter or the four in the UG chapter we supervise would buy any of that junk.
