MAMABUDDHA: The Greek world is very small. Having lived in NY, I am sure we know the same Bruhs and may have even met on occasion. LOCKJAW is one of my closest Dawgs in Omega.
I'd love to answer the question but I don't want to start any trouble.

If I had to choose from the selection at my school, I'd pick SAE. They're an awesome group of guys and I always have so much fun when I hang out with them. Some of my best friends are SAEs and they are the coolest guys I've ever met!

To be in any fraternity? I would say Kappa Alpha, without a doubt. I have never met a KA I didn't like and I love how the ones I know are true Southern Gentlemen. The South, it's history and legacy is a big deal to KA and I ould love to be a part of it. I love what KA stands for. And Old South is a great benefit!

Go ahead & answer the question. Goodness knows it wouldn't be the first time people have had an issue with something you've said.

I'm going to have to jump on the bandwagon and say I'd be a KA as well. It's got to be a southern thing...

Kevin and Josh:
Thank you!! I am a Theta Just wondering, Kevin, what is your reason that you would pick Theta? And also Tri-Delt? Just curious You made the right choice, LOL!
I would pick Pi Kappa Alpha and Sigma Chi from my school. I love these guys! So many of my best guy friends are from these two orgs. They are gentlemanly, genuine, honest (but not blunt), sweet, intelligent, and lotsa fun!! I can come to any of them and know that they will be there for me and my sisters, 24/7. Another good plus is that I have remained great friends even w/my exes from both Pike and EX
What a wonderful topic BTW!!

At George Mason, if I were a lady and from my past experience(4 years ago)from the girls I've known in each sorority, I would say Chi Omega. Alpha Phi would be a strong second. (Both are very pretty, smart, and nice girls). Now, beyond George Mason(nationally) if I went to another school(assuming they were at that school). My first choice would definitely be Tri Delta and Kappa Alpha Theta a strong second.

Soror the question gives a lot to think about. Having been a member of our illustrious sisterhood for 7 years also, I've encountered some great Omega men, who have stood besides me as brothers, protectors and friends. I respect the way they carry themselves and what they stand for. You know the saying "stand for something or fall for anything". Anyway, I would definitely have to become part of Omega Psi Phi.

This is a very interesting question. Okay, if you had asked me this question before coming to college, no question it would be Alpha Kappa Alpha. That's all I knew growing up. If I were a girl, family influence would dictate that I become an AKA. However since coming to college, I have grown to become in aw of those women who wear the Krimson and Kream. I still love the Pink and Green too. But, I just love the way that all the Delta's I have encountered handle their business. They never mentioned anything about them having the largest BGLO sisterhood. They just went about the business of Delta. Then after high school, I found out that a lot of my teachers were Delta's. Delta would be the one for me. Also, I'm very fond of their colors
I also meant to say that I have tried to learn as much information about BGLOS since I became a member. That's kinda backwards I guess. I mean I was happy with my choice, but I wanted to learn about what made us different and what made us the same. So after researching my fellow greeks, Delta would most definitely be my choice. I don't anyone has really stated that they would choose this frat or this sorority based on those reasons. So my reason goes deeper than that of those girls are cool or they are down to earth. I love all of my Greek brothers and sisters, especially the DIVINE NINE. But after visiting the Delta Headquarters site and reading "In Search of Sisterhood", there would be no other choice for me.

if i was a man, i'd want to be a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Alphamen that i have encountered in my years have ALWAYS been about business and community service, and that's whats made me pursue SGRho and that would be the same reasoning for wanting to be in a fraternity ( if i were a man!)

This is a cool question.
Hmmm, I can't decide. Based on my experiences before, as well as DURING, college, I'd have to say Sigma Chi and Kappa Alpha Psi. I've got mad respect for Sigs from HS and college, and KAPsi is from Indiana, and my cuz is one.

Ok, going off of first impressions, I would have to say, Kappa Alpha Psi. As a freshman, there was a strong Kappa influence on our yard, hence the Kappa Diamond thing.

Sammie17,
Your welcome. Well, we never had Theta on my campus but I'm basing my opinion on girls I've met outside of school. I used to work with a Virginia Tech Theta at Bennigans near our school and she was awesome. We used to exchange stories and she told once how the Thetas would serenade the Betas there. She was very cool. I had another friend that was a Theta too that I used to email and shes very cool too. I'd have to agree with Josho's opinion of Thetas. They definitely strike me as the kind of girl you could take home to meet the parents. Very sweet and they have lots of class.
I changed my mind about Tri Delt

Just when I thought I was out........
This is a hard question to answer because it has to be looked at diffferently. Putting yourself in the shoes of another sex..
What are the qualities? We all do community service, so that is not a factor to me, so I would have to choose a sorority that mirrors what I feel makes my Frat unique. I admire all of the NPHC sororities, but Delta Sigma Theta seems to most complement what I see in Omega. Its not quantifiable, has nothing to do with community service, numbers, stepping, or other surface qualities, just pure essence and aura, something in the marrow, just like da Bruhs.
