Yes LonelyGirl was Jen K. According to IMDB she'll be in several more episodes. I think she's the legacy that couldn't dance and Ashleigh, Casey and the president were less than thrilled to have join ZBZ.

I love the idea of crush baskets.

This episode totally made me love Rusty even more. He reminds me of so many young freshman that were perfect for setting up lil sis's with!

My thoughts exactly! He's so nerdy adorable, I love it!!

And now that we're a few episodes in, and I can safely say I thoroughly like this show and don't want it to go anywhere. I think it has staying power too in that Rusty is a freshman and they can just focus on new pledge classes as people graduate and keep things interesting (Degrassi style).

Does anyone know if any of the EPs or writers are Greek? I'm thinking SOMEONE close to the show HAS to be, because they're very respectful of representing the Greek system, even if somethings are a bit over the top.

They have to be respectful if they want to get a full series / 2nd season of this show..

I mean, srsly, they've already covered so many of the typical topics...

They are going to milk the whole Casey/Cappie thing for awhile obviously because it seems as if it'll come to a head sometime after Casey makes/doesn't president. Also, Casey genuinely loves Evan and vice versa so I don't think she's choose Cappie (who doesn't openly seem ready for a relationship but privately is) over Evan whom she also loves and has more to offer. Those are the kinds of decisions college kids make. (I know, I'm in college!)

As someone who opted for a Cappie type--oh, no, here we go was the reaction of friends--instead of a staying with a safe, sane Evan guy--I miss the stability one brought, but just smile whenever I think of the other. It was 4 months of just stupid fun.

I guess I'm one of the only people who didn't feel bad for Evan. I know it's a show and all, but seriously for him to lie to Casey and give her ticket to Rebecca, the pledge he cheated with I would have dumped his ass right then and there!

Oh wait, I would have dumped his ass the moment he cheated on me with a pledge

I loved the idea of the crush baskets and I LOVED that Rusty got his first "girlfriend". It was so sweet!

I adore Cappie. LOL.

I think Casey loves both of them in different ways. It was mentioned via the president of ZBZ to Rebecca that the sisters pressured Casey to dump Cappie, that is a huge deal. Casey obviously broke up with him out peer pressure. I'm sure they both have some very serious unresolved feelings (hence them sleeping together in the first episode). I know, she did it to get back at Evan, but why Cappie? She could have easily picked some random guy, but she chose Cappie. Deep down she knew that would beyond piss Evan off.

Who thinks that Dale is going to/might (maybe) rush Kappa Tau Gamma in the spring?!

After the whole raining beer thing he definitely seems to be breaking out of his shell. Only time will tell.

i hadn't even thought of dale rushing..it'd be funny and would def. give them material to add to the plot. The one thing i hate about the whole Dale thing is that they are def. taking the way a Christian acts to extremes;

What year are Casey, Cappie and Evan supposed to be? I figured since the guys are president of their chapters in the fall they're probably seniors and Casey's a year younger but I'm begining to think that all three will turn out to be juniors. Which would be weird since that would mean that both Cappie and Evan got elected to president as sophomores. Not unheard of but not normal.

I'm pretty sure Casey is a junior. I think Cappie and Evan are as well because they were roommates freshman year when Cappie and Casey were dating. Casey almost certainly pledged as a freshman, so the guys probably were freshmen then, too (I figure they would have moved into their respective fraternity houses as sophomores).

I was bored tonight so I did a bunch of internet sleuthing. The guy who plays Calvin, Paul James, is in a fraternity! I haven't figured out which one yet. At least one of the writers, Carter Covington, is in a fraternity (and gay).

I'll leave it to more experienced GCers to figure out which GLOs can claim them.

Not too much info on Paul yet, but according to this, he graduated with a BFA in Drama from Syracuse University.

And then the whole thing was egged on by Casey's sorority. And that's why Cappy & Evan hate each other. But I think Casey still loves Cappy, and I really want them to get back together. I hate Evan. And I absolutely hate Rebecca.
Ditto. I definately want to know what happened with the Cappie/Casey/Evan triangle.

With the way Casey's sorority sisters are behaving I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the writers had it that the sisters were behind Evan breaking up Cappie and Casey (since the president did point out the "mistake" Casey made as a Freshman).
