LOOOVED this episode! They did so well with it. I loved seeing how things were in the past for everyone. And it was funny to see Casey deny having a brother from the first day she met Ash (funny b/c everyone thought she was an only child when he first showed up and now we see why).
Greek did very well with this episode.

Aside from the steadfast thing, it seems pretty much typical of a LOT of sororities...

I have been noticing the symbols a lot lately..... The seal has a cat in it......I hope no reference to KAT, but who knows! Also they do seem to have a lot of crowns displayed. There is one on the top of Casey's paddle in her room, and I think on the seal?

Casey can be too harsh on others.

I just don't get why there's a need for any speculation as to who ZBZ is being based on. My guess is that the show's writers are trying their best NOT to have anything resemble an existing sorority's symbols/mottos/etc.
I really must applaud the show's writers because based from what I've seen so far they really did research -- from the skits to the big/little revealing to risk management policies...pretty impressive.
I know that most dramas on ABC Family don't have a long shelf life, so I'm curious to see how long they'll let this one last. Based on "the Greek Ball incident that happened 2 years ago" Cappie/Casey/Evan are all Juniors, right?

I was wondering about this because last season Casey was a junior. So they are either 2nd semester juniors (as in this season is showing the Spring Semester) or they are Seniors. I wanna say they are seniors, but I think they are 2nd semester juniors, because Rusty & all of them havent initiated yet (or it doesnt seem like they have).

I think they're 2nd semester juniors. It's the "2nd season" but they were only on semester break, I think.

See that's probably right. I just couldn't remember if they were on Winter Break or Summer Break....
ETA: Now that I think about it Rusty mentioned something in the first episode of this new season about being gone "a couple weeks" and I thought that was odd for summer break. So it obviously was winter break.

During the first season I thought that Evan and Cappie were first semester seniors and Casey was a junior but we now know they're all (now) second semester juniors.
Does anyone else find it odd to think that Omega Chi and Kappa Tau would have elected sopohomres to be President of their chapter? (They were already in the positions at the start of the school year.)
Plus, when are they going to have elections? Casey took over Frannie's position so they still have elections coming up. Where I'm sure Frannie will likely try to regain her Presidency.

Well Frannie will be a 5th year, "next year" and I thought they had mentioned that a 5th year can't remain active. But who knows what will happen.

I don't think they ever mentioned that fifth years can't stay active because Frannie had every intent of overstaying her welcome as ZBZ Pres. if you remember. Casey freaked out b/c it had been promised by Frannie (and Frannie's master plan) to her. Then the whole fiasco occured and Frannie got booted anyway. I don't think she'd had even bothered trying to get back if they were going to let her loose anyways. I couldn't imagine having to leave just b/c that. Unless you wanted to go.

see, thats what i thought... everytime you bring in a "new class" of folk, its never as awesome as the first time around. Evan/Casey/Cappie/Ashley will graduate out (well maybe not Frannie, based on her meeting with the advisor, and Cappie, since hes had every major under the sun) and it will leave Rusty/Dale/Calvin/Rebecca? If that's the case, their storylines need to be beefed up a lot more! There are so many directions this show can go but I don't know if the writers will take it. Who knows, maybe Calvin starts his own Christian frat or decides to rush as a sophomore? Or maybe some alum come back to visit? or maybe even an MCG comes to Cyprus-Rhodes?
I think Jen K shouldve stayed, and her storyline of doing a greek expose couldve been drawn out. So could the flashbacking and us finding out how the drama between KT and OC started. that just shortened the series a few episodes, maybe even a full season.
Maybe ABCFamily didnt expect for the show to be a hit and didnt plan, writing-wise, for more than a couple of seasons.

I'd like to see Casey's rush thread I wonder what she'd code-name the sororities?

So now i'm because I thought Evan and Cappie were presidents of their respective fraternities. So since Evan isn't President of Omega Chi, is Cappie president of Kappa Tau.
I loved when Rusty clarified that its a "fraternity" not a "frat."
I find Dale adorable in a wierd way.

i swear i rebuke this whole FREAKING* show.
i think im done with the show... nothing even remotely makes sense and im starting not to care what happens anymore. I dont wanna spoil anything, but NOTHING is happening between Frannie and Evan. nor with Rebecca. The writers cant think were that gullible.
That whole thing with Rusty and the girl, so American Pie i cracked the hell up. Please give Dale and Calvin some more play - they really hold it together!
and yeah @ epchick, i too thought Evan was President of Omega Chi. im confused as well.
*only used FREAKING because its ABCFamily, but you know what i meant.
