Calvin can't "turn down" initiation, at least not anymore. I guess you guys don't remember that there was an initiation ceremony for all the pledges. The only pledges who didn't finish the ceremony were the ZBZs.

Better question... why wasn't Frannie AT initiation?

That's a good question. I know that most houses require every one to be there because it is a ritual she probably didn't attend because she knew what she was going to do and wanted it to be more dramatic to walk in, hand over her badge and then call all the girls to follow her...

^^ Still, wouldn't someone say, "Hey, why isn't Frannie here, because I don't believe she's going to revolt against us and start another sorority, ruining initiation and taking half of the sisters with her."
They wouldn't know what she was planning to do, therefore, they would have questioned it and she should have been there.
Stupid tv shows, always needing to create a dramatic entrance.

Well, the half that walked out probably knew what she was going to do.
I love how she wore red instead of black. Haha - "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

Which just goes to show that it's just TV. I've known some catty girls before but I dont think I've met any that are so catty that they would play up the part of going through the trouble to prepare for an initiation, knowing full well they were going to walk out AT THAT MOMENT.
It would have been more realistic (and less cool for TV) if an argument got started randomly in the house one day, and people just walked out. And those New members/almost initiates who were all naive - byyyye!!!
It'll be just my luck that I'm suckered in to watching this show... I resisted for so long!

I know what you mean! Although I do know at least one person who would definitely pull what Franny did (and she'd get a lot of the NMs to follow her as well).

The whole "Franny starting a new sorority"thing doesn't make sense to me. I mean, Casey was right, and we all know, that once you're initiated into an NPCO, you can't join any other sororities. For the NM's, I would believe they're fine, but for the sisters, they can't go anywhere...
I'm just confused.

In my mind it's not going to be a NPC sorority. I mean that would require a lot of things, and this show has been pretty solid on details (like changing the by-laws to let Frannie run for President again). I'm guessing this would be like a local that she could just "start" or something.
Hope Becca doesn't go though.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! I've been watching a couple of episodes of the marathon and I'm excited enough to MISS GOSSIP GIRL even though my friend's clothing line is going to show up this week!
I'll chalk it up to download so that live-in can see it as well.

Seriously Rebecca Logan bathroom meeting, I hope the show is not going down this unrealistic road. I mean undercover mole or not, how can she wear letters for a different GLO local or national completly ridiculous. Evan does not seem too happy about this rent check business, it looks like he is going to start seeing Frannies true colors, well atleast I hope he does.

Not really.
I mean, IKI isn't even recognized. I don't know.
