One of the local television stations in South

woman from New Orleans. The interviewer was a woman
from a Boston affiliate. She asked the black woman how
such total and complete devastation of the churches in
the area had affected their
lives.

Without hesitation, the woman replied," I don't know
about all those other people, but we haven't gone to
churches in years. We get our chicken from Popeye's."

The look on the interviewer's face was priceless.

Someone texted messaged me, that was so funny to me!!!

I dont know if yall have seen this cell phone commercial. It's about choices or something like that, in it this white guy on a bus tells this black woman i want you to dance for me...she automatically turns around and starts doing a booty bounce up and down on a pole on the bus...its ridiculous

Is that what people really think of black women, all we can do is shake our butts? is that dancing -(ok well sometimes)

I hate that commerical
Yesterday I volunteered with my group at the NBA ALL Star Jam Session. While wearing our group shirts everyone is supposed to be professional at all times. With all of the hip hop music playing it was hard to concentrate. I admit I even bopped my head. But what embarrassed me was when a group (of mostly them) came by and asked an older guy (who was one of us) a question, he broke it down doing a dance almost like Beyonce'. He had a smile stretched a mile wide. I'm sure the question had nothing to do with dancing. Then another girl went to the cabinet (which was in public view) and broke out into some kind of gyrating move from side to side when Laffy Taffy came on. The guy had been there a while before I came in so no telling what else he had been doing. The girl had just got there. Within an hour or 2 she proclaimed "I'm leaving". Her shift wasn't even over. Even though we were volunteering. They were making us look bad.

REFUTED!

Grounds: Urban legend

Source: Chicken Belittle

It was at least IMHO hilarious nonetheless.

I work in the Education field and I am too embarrassed when somebody's mama shows up to school at 10:30 a.m., with her hair wrapped, pajamas (that don't match), no bra, house shoes, and "little Man-Man" on her hip with no shoes and a diaper!

Then, they want to speak with the principal who happens to be of another race.
I'm glad we just got a AF AM principal. Whewwwwww!

I have one better. Within 1 week, there were separate incidences where a parent and child got in a 'knock down drag out fight' in front of the school. If the child will fight the parent, what will he or she do to administrators, teachers, or students? We don't stand a chance!

See that's where you have to get the bluff in. I tell them all the time to go outside my room and look at the number on the door. I then tell them, this is not home...I RUN THIS! My kids know that I am not afraid to loose my job! I will fight a kid back! Once I had to break up a fight between two boys, and in the midst of standing between them, one drew his fist back at me. Needless to say, I temporarily lost my mind and squared up! Then he realized that I was not playing...I'll fight a kid!

You and some other peeps.

I don't have major problems with the ones I get. After their first taste of me, they swear going to the 'pen' is better than dealing with me.

GOOD...that means I'm doing my j-o-b!

What about a graduate's family with the cooking pot that you can tell came out the cabinet and the metal cooking spoon...making all sorts of noise. I didnt know the graduate but I was mortified!!!

Jr. Prom was Friday night. A student needed another ticket. At the last period, she decides to come to school DIRECTLY from the hair salon to make that purchase. Her conditioner was in her hair...she had a "curl" cap on her hair AND the white towel wrapped around her.

Um, sorry, but you cannot walk around the campus like that. She was mad when I escorted her back to the office.

I decided to get a sandwich from Blimpie's about 40 minutes ago. When I got there, there were three people on the line -- one of "us," a man, and another woman.

When the woman in front realized that the staff had taken the orders of the people behind her (because she had cut the line), she moved to the back (right in front of me, grrr) and went into a tirade about "You guys saw me standing here," blah blah blah (agreed, although I am also full-figured, she would have been very difficult to miss).

Anyway, the staff moved her sub down the line. When she got to the fixins person, she screamed at him to add more lettuce ... "Don't put on all that mayonnaise on my sandwich ... It's my mouth and I'll say what I want!"

Thankfully, she and her son decided not to eat their food there -- they paid and left. When it was my turn to pay, I commended the staff for their "handling" of the woman and added some change to the tip jar, somehing I don't normally do.

I'm embarrassed when we....

WEAR OUR CLOTHES TOO TIGHT FOR OUR "PLUS SIZE" BOOTIES!!!

I just saw this chick walking down the street, azz the size of 22 with all of her cellulite imprints MARKED AND JIGGILIN' through her size 14 jogging pants!!

Might I add that she had panty lines too. Of course she thought she was PHYNE!! ERRRRR, not even cute!

Disclaimer: This is not a slight to the plus size sistahs that know how to handle themselves and be classy. I'm a "booty girl" myself
