The Creed of Pi Kappa Alpha was actually adopted this August at our Convention, along with a vision and mission statement.

Here is our Creed:

We believe in the importance of virtue and commit to living the values of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. We recognize that truth is the foundation of all lasting association, and we will seek wisdom and knowledge while serving others in modesty and dignity.

Recalling that Pi Kappa Alpha is a lifelong commitment, I therefore reaffirm to live my life with honor and courage seeking the inherent worth in each person I meet; to accept all brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha in love and friendship; and to serve my faith, my family, my community, my alma mater, and my Fraternity.

Only then, by living these virtues, will we realize our fullest potential.

Such beautiful and inspiring words from all the GLOs! Here is the Sigma Alpha Iota Symphony, which I just love:

To study and practice the goodness of life, the beauty of art, the meaning of music.
To sing the song of sincerity and universal peace.
To speak the words that build, that bless and comfort.
To play the harpstrings of loving kindness, tolerance, appreciation, and genuine gratitude.
To strive for the joy of simplicity, for the noble, to be faithful over a few things.
To listen, to be still and know the harmony from within.
To falter never in seeking loving service, wisdom, and understanding.
In a word, to be loyal to Sigma Alpha Iota and her teachings; to find joy, hope, inspiration; to remember that "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above" and "whatsoever ye do, do it heartily as to the Lord, and not unto men."
And again to practice.
This is to be our Symphony.

Talking Yay!! I love this thread!!!

The Alpha Sigma Tau Creed

As a member of Alpha Sigma Tau,
I believe in the permanence and loveliness of its ideals.
I believe in the values of friendship and fidelity to purpose.
I believe in the fulfillment of self and will strive to contribute my share to the progress of mankind.
I believe in cultivating beauty of spirit and graciousness of living in all my contacts with others.
I believe that faithfulness to these ideals will help me to live joyously and valiantly.

The Purpose

The Purpose of Alpha Sigma Tau is to promote the ethical, cultural, and social development of its members, specifically:
to develop the character of each member through a study of ethics so that she will show in all her relationships sincerity, honesty, love and understanding;
to help each member enjoy the cultural advantages in life so that she will know how to select those things which are most worthwhile; and
to develop in each member the social graces to the extent that she will be able to take her place in life with true dignity and poise.

Okay here is ours.

I believe in Theta Chi, its traditions and its ideals. Born of sturdy manhood, nurtured by resolute men, enobled by high and sacred purpose, it has taken its place among the educational institutions of America as a promoter of knowledge, an advancer of culture, and a builder of character.

It inspires true friendship: teaches Truth, Temperace and Tolerance, extols virture, exacts harmony, and extends a helping hand to all who seek it.

I belive in the primacy of Alma Mater; in the usefulness of my Fraternity, in its influence and its acomplishments and I shall do all in my power to perpetuate its ideals, thereby serving my God, my country and my fellow-man.

Post The Sigma Tau Gamma Creed

I believe that the true spirit of Fraternalism is a personal devotion to one's ideals. it has its roots in definite, tangable things. it springs out of a love of God and worth of one's fellowman. It grows into qualities of mind and soul. It is not the attitude toward a few selected ends, but rather the abiding spirit in which all things are done, all difficulties met, all successes recieved, all obstacles overcome.

I believe that the true spirit of Fraternalism is a breath that breathes itself into the life and being of those who live it, becoming an unconscious part of them, ruling and molding their thoughts and acts. We may call it the right attitude towards life, towards the world, towards right and wrong, towards the beautiful and good, towards duty and faith in God.

I believed that the true spirit of Fraternalism is a thing that grows. It is first associated almost exclusively with a narrow circle of fellow students, but it broadens with a widening understanding until it takes in all the important relationships of life. It enters the domain of private life as thoroughly as in public life. It teaches the fulfillment of obligations to school, state, and church.

I believe that Sigma Tau Gamma endeavors to bind men together in a fraternal brotherhood based upon these eternal and immutable truths, which are set forth in the Principles and in the Code of Conduct of our Fraternity.

In this belief, I will endeavor to make my college and my own chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma more honored and respected by all men, and will endeavor to conduct myself so that I will ever bring credit and honor to our Fraternity.

Beta Sigma Phi does not have a creed (that I can find- sisters, correct me if I'm wrong), but we do have Opening and Closing Rituals and a Mizpah said at every meeting (which can be shared with all) that I think show very well what we are about:

Opening Ritual
Sisters in Beta Sigma Phi, we pledge ourselves anew to the aims and purposes of our glorious sisterhood; more tolerance for our fellow beings through a better understanding of them; a clearer and deeper appreciation of the cultural and finer things of life for ourselves; and a determination to give the best that is in us to our sorority and to assist in any and every way to shed the light of our torch throughout the world.

Closing Ritual
Eternal Father, Shepherd of the Stars, guide us that we may follow only the Good, only the True, only the Beautiful. Hold aloft to us the guiding torch of wisdom and help us to push on, undaunted, toward its light. Illume our souls with Thy wisdom that we in turn may light the way for those who follow us. If the road we take seems obscured in dust, give us skill and grace to pave it with stars, to transmute the dust into stardust. Grant us such clearness of vision, such sweetness of spirit, such earnestness of purpose that we may follow the torch to our goal.

Mizpah
May the Lord watch between me and thee, while we are absent one from the other.

Thank you to my sister, PsychTau, for listing AST's creed and beliefs. I was going to do if she hadn't.

Gamma Phi Beta from the past has given
A heritage that makes a fuller life.
Gamma Phi Beta in the present bids
Us strive for lasting values and ideals.
Gamma Phi Beta in the days to come
Will prove that fundamentals can endure.
Therefore we shall embody in our lives
The truths that make for finer womanhood.
Once more we pledge a loyalty that means
Adherence to all true and noble things;
A learning that enriches all our days
With magic gold that is forever ours;
A labor that each hour will glorify
The simple, common task, the common cause;
A love that will be strong and great enough
To encompass and to pity all the world.

this is a cool thread.

Phi Kappa Psi Creed

I believe that Phi Kappa Psi is a brotherhood of honorable men, courteous and cultured, who pledge throughout their lives to be generous, compassionate, and loyal comrades;

I believe that I am honor bound to strive manfully for intellectual, moral, and spiritual excellence; to help and forgive my Brothers; to discharge promptly all just debts; to give aid and sympathy to all who are less fortunate;

I believe that I am honor bound to strengthen my character and deepen my integrity; to counsel and guide my Brothers who stray from their obligations; to respect and emulate my Brothers who practice moderation in their manners and morals; to be ever mindful that loyalty to my Fraternity should not weaken loyalty to my college, but rather increase devotion to it, to my country, and to my God;

I believe that to all I meet, wherever I go, I represent not only Phi Kappa Psi, but indeed the spirit of all fraternities; thus I must ever conduct myself so as to bring respect and honor not to myself alone, but also to my Fraternity;

To the fulfillment of these beliefs, of these ideals, in the noble perfection of Phi Kappa Psi, I pledge my life and my sacred honor.

My sister RedRoseSAI beat me to posting our symphony. It's one of my favourite parts of SAI, and those words are near and dear my heart always. For our 75th, we printed shirts with our Symphony on them, and I wear mine often in warm weather. I think our Chorale sums up much about us, too, so I'm taking the liberty of posting that as well:

Daughters of our great and singing nation
Let your voices rise in exultation
Music tells unspoken noble creeds
Music beautifies the simplest deeds
Sing we now to Sigma Alpha Iota.

Sing the greatness of the soul and spirit
Sing the joy of peace and friendship's merit
Music is a kind and truthful speech
In a language out of mere word's reach
Sing we now to Sigma Alpha Iota.

~Emma
