We have seven members altogether, and at our next meeting this Monday we're going to begin planning our spring rush. BTW Sarah, if you're still interested in helping us with the website, please let me know, because we would absolutely love your help. We have a bunch more stuff together now, so things should go a little smoother. More later everyone!

Corina, every time I read through this thread I swear I just get more and more impressed with you! You're really getting things done; you should be very proud of what you have accomplished so far.

Things are looking up again. They haven't really be looking down, I'm just excited about our progress. My dad told me that I don't have to pay him back the money for the t shirts, so the three hundred dollars plus profit can all go back into Nu Beta Omicron! Plus, we're selling tons of candy and baked goods, so hopefully that will help us get some stuff taken care of. At our meeting tomorrow night we're going to be talking about rush, so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. So far these are some themes we're considering:
Mardi Gras, City Nights, Hawaiian, Movies, Music....
I dunno. I can't really think of anything to do for any of those things. Like activities or decorations or something. I was also thinking of doing something like "A Leage Of Our Own", and we could have baseball caps and baseball style rush shirts. Also, each night could be titled a different base, and maybe we could use some of the music from the movie in rush? I think that would be really cute and simple and fun, but I don't know if the others will like it as much as me. So let me know whatcha think please!
love, Corina

When I went through recruitment, ADPi did a similar baseball theme. They all had these "baseball" outfits on and when we walked in, they were all singing SmashMouth's "All Star". It was so cute! I think that's a great idea Corina! Best of luck during rush.

All of your ideas sound just fine. Though, if you do the baseball theme, I would refrain from calling each night by a base. I can just imagine the uproar if/when a PNM tells someone that she "only got to second base with NBO." Heh...not good.

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that an information packet from Theta Phi Alpha came for us today! Their website isn't up and running yet so I don't really know a whole lot about them, but it's exciting nonetheless! That means TWO sororities are interested in us...already my expectations have been exceeded and doubled! Yay NBO! I'm so happy! K More later!
love, Corina

Hey sweetie!! I've been following your story, and I think what you're doing is great. Dont mind the fact that our national website is down, we're just working on revamping it. If you have any questiosns, you can look atmy chapters website www.pitt.edu/~thetaphi/ or feel free to email me with any questions!! And even if you do decide not to choose us as your nationals, good luck with it all!!
