I am completely laughing my butt off on this one

I can just picture some of those older alums attending a convention initiation in their pink lycra catsuits, complete with feather boas, pink rhinestone tiaras and lion pompom mum corsages!!! Don't forget the pink lucite stiletto pumps and gold quatrefoil ankle bracelets (on both ankles). The image of the ritual "Hustle" greeting to our new members as we dance around while they receive their tattoos on the bottom of their feet toasting their survival...er...initiation.

shudder, and I thought I had lost that image after my hours of therapy. (Where did I put that therapist phone number??)

Do the SAE's want to back me up on this one?

In my chapter, we have the guard train the lion so that the President's big entrance on it goes smoothly. The music chair also practically hazes us making us learn to sing "The Circle of Life" and the other Lion King songs in four part harmonies.

Are we allowed to talk about the ritual "bling" or is that a secret too? You know I was really upset when I found out that Victoria's Secret ripped off our idea of diamond underwear in their Christmas catalog, you know, the ones we squeeze under the ritual catsuits...Well that and the diamond encrusted Manolos we wear to walk over the diamond dusted ritual ground.

Those white dresses are all just for show...

We all know that the reason why there is a need for fat circling and no photos... none of us really wear those white dresses or pink catsuits during the initiation rituals... come on ladies... it is time to really fess-up...

This is the real information that Hoover wanted but never got till now... If you really want to know what happens when those chapter room doors close it is this... we all strip out of our "IHQ" issued dresses (hents the reason for the pre-initiation fat circleing ceremonies that happens weeks in advance). We all have our sacrificial mascot slaughterings, we drink the bloods of those sacred animals, we sing and dance to our own "special" music, and then we cerimonally hit each other with the cerimonal feather pillows that have been handed down from the founding members of our chapters (those can be a b*tch to get reserved because so many chapters have initiation on the same day and for me there are only 11 pillows to go around for 120 plus chapters... luckly my chapter is a spring initation chapter!)

I am very proud that my Alpha Gam sisters have not revealed ANY of our secrets. Obviously we are more discreet and ladylike than the rest of you.

(Oh, darn. I lost my recipe for Epsilon Pie. How many squirrels are in it?)

Yr devoted sister,

I'm not sure how many, but my neighbor has me trapping red squirrels with a vengence twice a year - and she refuses to tell me what happens with the tails!

In the spirit of Panhellenic cooperation, I hereby offer you the squirrel that has been living off my bird feeder all winter.

I've never tried squirrel, but giraffe blood is actually pretty tasty... d'oh!

yeah well there ain't nothing like eating a dove. although the white feathers get a lil messy.
hey! maybe we can give you the feathers to refill the pillows from your founders. they've gotta be a lil worn out from all that hittin'.

Oh thank goodness our founders' thought enough to make chocolate mandatory ritual food!! Nothing like a good "dove bar" and chocolate milkshake to help you remember what to say . Ritual handiwipes are of course supplied by big sisters .

None of the AGDs mentioned how singing "red squirrel, red squirrel, shake your bushy tail", our traditional initiation chant, gets tiring after we serenade each new member with the full booty-shaking action....

And we only wrestle in red, buff, and green jello

As you may have figured out, the red, buff and green of AGD symbolizes the strong Rastafarian spirit of our founders. Bob Marley, an honorary Alpha Gam, kindly wrote a special song called "Put it On" to encourage our new members to embrace their new squirrel heads and tails.

well, clothes are optional for actives. the sisters being initiated have to be nude until they receive their snake skin boots and dove suite. thus the white.

Honeychile, were you at Pitt when the sororities all used to intiate their pledges the same night and, due to a scheduling mixup, the ADPi lion and the DPhiE unicorn were both in the Amos Hall elevator at the same time?

I hear it was not pretty once those doors opened

Does it count as clothes if it's painted on?
