I love love love it when peeps come here and make a GC account for the sole purpose of posting haterade about a chapter on their campus that is facing disciplinary action. It makes them seem so cool.

A thread will be like "XYZ sorority suspended for hazing" and here comes AmandaABC with one post to tell us that "OMG XYZ is so terrible and they totally circle their new members' fat!!"

In this case, I would say that the ladies did this all on their own. As far as asking the President for comment, why would they not? It does make sense as she is the local representative to ask her whether or not she was willing to or expected to respond.

As far as the texting part, it's not uncommon in this day and age and will likely even become more prevalent with time (although I hope it doesn't replace that new-fangled telephone contraption where you make a "call" or that crazy thing that carries messages through space known as an "internet". Lord, knows that'd be jacked up)!

Thank you for the little bit of positive feedback and actully UF is not the school she will be attending. I had such a positive experience being a part of a sorority and I hope that she will be able to experience that. She will be there 3 years as she is in a 5 year program. I guess we will just have to wait and see. If she doesn't get a bid, there are many other opportunities that she can pursue and I know that her college experience will be a good one regardless.
