Does your locations still have the waitresses on skates? The one's I have seen let the waitresses decide if they want to do the skates or not.

I live in MD as well, but I'm lucky b/c my mom lives in Raleigh and I can go to Sonic when I visit her...but I've actually never gone. I was thinking of going to see her next weekend....MAYBE I'll go??? If I do, I can bring you something back??LOL
It's only a 4 hour drive if you get desperate, Killarney !!

Wow really? Sonics was found to be like those 50's sty;e drive ups where the waitresses came out in skates. I seem them do it all the time at Sonics around here.

Sonic is okay, but I prefer Central Park. Much better burgers, IMO.

The sonics in Tucson have the servers on skates, but it's optional. People were known to get broken ankles, and if you're not a goos akter, you're in trouble. Also, the sonic breakfast sandwiches are sooooo delicious, and they have these really yummy new ice cream, juice smoothie things that are awesome. I also love their coneys. Wow, I'm really hungry now...thanks a lot guys...

For the west coast, we have one up in Spokane (eastern Washington) But I've never been to it. Maybe I'll have to go and try the food, the commercials make it look pretty good.

Oh my gosh, Sonic is a great restaurant. They have Sonic in Kentucky where I go to school and my parents love to come visit me to go to Sonic. Wouldn't it be great if Maryland would get a Sonic? Maybe some day we will.

Yeah - that kinda makes me mad when I see ads for places like Sonic and Quiznos, and they look so good, but there are none in the area. I don't think there are any in CT, but...
I went down to Mississippi last summer, and had Sonic a couple of times. It was really good, one of the best fast food places I've had...and I'm not a huge fast food fan.

We just got a Sonic near my hometown recently. It's wonderful! They have the best burgers of any fast food place I know of. It's also fairly reasonable!

We finally got a Sonic last year. I'd eaten at one when I was in Missouri years ago and they had the best Chilly Cheese Frito Pies! NUMMY!
Will and I would go to Sonic for the Cherry-Lime aid drinks and mix em with Vodka! VERY NUMMY as well!
Great food!
