Corina,
Totally move forward with NBO rush. I know that AZD nationals may be a little hectic right now with the start of the school year, the colonization of 3 new chapters, and all the new members from already exsisting chapters coming in. So just be patient. I am sure they have not forgotten about you at all.
If you need help with rush stuff, we are all here for you. Also, PM me if you would like, I was a Rush chair for my AZD chapter in 1999.
