They're very small though.

One of the biggest at K-State is Phi Gam, I think, and they only have like 22 pledges.

For Kansas State U., fraternity and sorority membership data for fall 2005 (beginning of semester and end of semester) is available in PDF format via their Greek Affairs offfice site.
You can go to

http://www.k-state.edu/greek/recruit...ecruitment.htm

and on the page that comes up, click on the link titled "Retention Rates." The chart for the IFC fraternities shows (or showed when I last saw it) that Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) had a total of 80 members (returning + new) at the end of the fall semester. It looks like that's a pretty decent size for that campus. Not the largest, certainly not the smallest, and similar to five other chapters that are clustered with 78 - 82 total members.

Incidentally, ten of the 11 NPC sororities there had total end-of-Fall 2005 memberships that were larger than the largest fraternity.

It also looks like it's not uncommon for chapters to lose a few members -- not a lot -- over the semester. Nothing new there.

You Sir art to good and very informative to those that talk out of Rears!

Kansas St. Un. does have a very strong Greek Society!

Most of the True Mid-West Uns. and Colleges do have for a very good reason.

We are Neat!
