The goats are for the ritual?! Damn, here in Texas we serve cabrito for the White Violet banquet. Very tasty. I guess bunny stew for the first course is a bad thing, too?

Cool Pillow Fights

Now I know that several NPC groups have a ritualistic pillow fight involved in initiation. Its time to 'fess up.

Where else do you think we get the feathers?! But we do have to order the pillows from our EO.

as long as no one reveals about our ritual wear while having the pillow fights, i think we're okay...

you don't have to answer if this is a secret, but what happens if two chapters are having initiation at the same time? do you have to schedule the intitiations well in advance to ensure that posiden will not be double booked? does he have his own tour bus? forgive me, but i am just really interested.

I know I'm not a Delta Delta Delta, but when we can't borrow our goat from one of the other chapters, SigEp is kind enough to let us use theirs.

Shhh....I'm not supposed to reveal this....but.....

Posiden travels, via the ocean on his trusty dolphin friend, to those of us lucky enough to live on the coast, so travel is easy for him. I do believe those unfortunate chapters have to book him very far in advance. Three years, I believe.

He does have a 'Tour Tank' to visit those chapters inland. On magical nights, when the cresant moon is out, you might be able to catch a glimise of him.

Now remember....shhhh..

Dolphin Chica,
You crack me up!!

But, honestly, I can't believe you told about the Posiden-mobile, now how will he travel to our poor chapters in the middle of Iowa without people clamering to get a look of our ancient greek god? I think I might have to email Executive Office about you telling our secrets.

Russell, I let you in on a secret... the "Tour Tank" is camouflaged as a very large Mercedes Benz SUV with a Delta Delta Delta sticker on the back and a license plate cover that states "Daddy bought it but I got it" so it can stay inconspicuous in front of a sorority house. You would be amazed how easily Posiden can travel from chapter to chapter like this, no one ever suspects...

Is this the same Mercedes with the fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror, over a bobbing plastic statue of the Virgin Mary?

Does the bumper sticker say I DDD?

I think that I've seen it.

I think my APO chapter has had our football tackling dummies and flaming basketball hoop (we are in Indiana, after all!) for a while. I think you can order them from nationals, though.

Can't forget our (top secret!) wet t-shirt contest, where the girl who places last is ritually sacrified and fed to the goat. We have to order the daggers and t-shirts from headquarters, though.
