Good morning GCers...I'm getting dressed for the day and will grab some breakfast and then head out the door to go get my enbvelope. I will be sure to get right back to a computer to let everyone know...I'm so nervous!!!!!

I GOT A BID!!!! I'll be attending the Pi Alpha (new member) ceremony at 3:30 this afternoon!!!!!! Yay!!!!

I called my mom this morning and she is sooooo thrilled! Not only will she now be my mother, a best friend, and a mentor...but now she will be my sister too! That is not something that anything can take away!! Even Cancer! All things happen for a reason, and for DG to colonize at NCSU at this point in my life is not just a coincedence...there is something bigger working here...and I'm so THRILLED!!!

This thread has truly made me smile today. First, ALL the Duke sorority girls are sweet and adorable, and I'm glad they gave you such a good impression. I have equally nice things to say for the NCSU Greek system, or what I know of it.
Congratulations, WhiteDaisy. I do agree with you that the colonization of DG cannot be a coincidence for you and your family... God works in mysterious but wonderful ways  I hope you enjoy the special bond that you will have with your mother as sisters. I wish you tons of fun this afternoon honey!

This has to be one of the most heartwarming "rush" stories I've ever read. Because of the special connection with your mom, your time in Delta Gamma is sure to be extra meaningful. Congratulations.

I'm going to join in with everyone else in saying CONGRATULATIONS!!! You have wonderful times of excitement and happiness ahead of you...enjoy them to the fullest and you will never doubt why you became a Delta Gamma.
Good luck with the rest of Colonization and please continue to keep us up to date on what is going on with that process. It'd be cool to know since I've never even had the chance to be a part of it. Love and ITB,
