These are honorary, but...
Famous Gamma Sigs-
~Barbara Bush (former first lady)
~Dr. Mae Jemison
There are a few more but I don't have them in front of me. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Dr. Jemison is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha.

The ZTA website http://www.zetataualpha.org/famous.htm doesn't list Kirstie Alley as one of its famous members. So she's not an AGD, nor a ZTA, nor a XO, nor a GammaPhi. Is she even a Greek at all?

Well, for the record, she's not a kappa sigma either . . .

Hey Consul,
For someone who's really pro Sigma Chi, you left out a very important brother (maybe because he's canadian)
Ted Rogers of Rogers Cable - He's worth a lot of money, like 11 billion....I think he should get more recognition than most of the people on your list.

Dear Consul,
It's great to be proud of your fraternity and be a big booster. But I think the tone of your last couple of lines in rude. Consider the feelings of others before you speak or write.
Thanks for your consideration of others.

Consul,
Thanks. I'm pleased to hear that since I've known a lot of great Sigs over the years.
But, if you had just been through rush and had not gotten a bid -- or if you were a casual reader in this forum -- how would it sound to you? Elitist? Gloating? Would you feel worse about not getting a bid?
That's the way it struck me, so maybe it would strike someone else that way too.
Just something to consider.

Re Kirstie Alley, this question was driving me nuts so I actually went to some Kirstie fan sites to check it out. None of them mention that she's Greek affiliated, just that she went to U of Kansas & Kansas State.

Ted Turner...tee hee. He was initiated at my school, but never finished...does anyone know if he ever went on to get his bachelor's?
Two more famous Kappa Sigs...Tom and Tom! I think it's a Northeast thing, but Nantucket Nectars, anyone?
