The newly elected governor of Mississippi, Haley Barbour, was an SAE...his wife Marsha was a KD.

Since the original poster asked who we thought was in our GLO but turns out they weren't I will have to add that I was always told that Pat Nixon (President Nixon's wife) was a Kappa Delta. I was at national convention the year she died and when they did the memorial service for those who had died since the last convention I was really shocked to not hear Pat mentioned. Found out that was just a rumor. Not sure if only our chapter knew of the rumor or if it was a national rumor at the time.

I'm sure that he still is an SAE and that his wife is still a KD, unless they either resigned or were expelled.

Two more fun Kappas to add:
Laurie Hickson-Smith--Designer for Trading Spaces (The Key did a really nice article on her last year).
Anne Barge--up and coming Wedding Gown Designer (hers was the gown that was chosen on the last GMA or Today show throws a wedding (I don't remember which show for sure)).
It's interesting to see how many "well I heard..." and urban legends there are out there about GLO affiliation.

Have any of y'all ever read the book or see the website www.savekaryn.com? She's in a sorority, but I don't know which one. I emailed her to ask, though!

Don't know which one she belongs to, but I read somewhere that a movie depicting her "struggles" will be out in 2005.
And for those who wondered how she looked like, here she is (from the Smoking Gun):
Edited to add: Columbia College of Chicago lists her as a 1996 graduate. Don't know if that was for undergrad or grad work.

Her full name is Karyn Bosnak. Can anyone do a search? There isn't an ADPi chapter at Columbia College (to my knowledge).
