^^ KD's been omitted from the list above.
From my count, KD got 51. (I just counted from the list, though, and could have miscounted.)
ETA: It looks like I did indeed miscount. Thanks, AnchorAlumna for sharing the news that KD got 54!

I'm glad to see Theta had such a successful first formal recruitment. Congratulations! How many women are now in the chapter?

Yay! The ones I recommended have bids--they're now in AXO, DZ, and KAT and the one of my daughter's students that already had a Pi Phi rec went--Pi Phi!
Some local girls have bids too-wow, one has a sitting sister in another chapter but she seems to have gone to her friends' group!

Our HS had two new Alpha Gams and one Zeta; two friends from church who go to the private school in town went Alpha Chi Omega and Alpha Xi Delta.
I was at a party with the new Alpha Chi's mom last night and she said that her daughter was happy with all the chapters she went to for pref.

Congratulations to all the new sorority members, it sounds like all the houses did a great job and now have a terrific batch of new sisters. I'm hoping my daughter took lots of pictures today of the fun. I really do wish there was a web-cam of the new village, it would be so neat to see today.

I usually don't post on the boards, but I have to say how excited I am for Theta at Auburn! I've been waiting so anxiously to see how they would do. Theta Love from the Northland ladies!!!
And a heartfelt congratulations to all of the chapters at AU!

Congrats to all!
I wanted to come back and add that my daughter said these last two weeks have really brought the house together, she said there were girls that, before last week, she didn't even know their names (I think they have 200+ members) but she had made some new friends and just really bonded with her sisters during all this. Another friend who missed all of recruitment because she had surgery came back today for bid day and she said she was completely lost and felt like she had missed so much. I know that my daughter had 2 weeks of early mornings and long days but looking back I don't think she would disagree with my saying that it was a great experience and worth all the sleep lost.
If she has any pics that I can post without giving too much away I will.

Quota at Auburn
Does anyone know the official quota at Auburn? It appears there are different numbers being mentioned.
Congratulations to all the new members!

My daughter said that the official quota was 49, but they the sororities have some leeway to go above quota due to a variety of factors. It appears that Panhellenic makes an effort to keep the number of girls about the same between the different houses but at the same time making sure that all the pnm's that went to pref. receive a bid as long as the pnm listed all the houses that invited her for pref.

Congrats to all the chapters on making quota! And an extra WOO for Zeta Xi!
Also, my chapter's first formal recruitment is coming up in a few weeks...I'm so inspired to see Theta do so well as a new chapter. I'm hoping we can have the same success!

Congratulations to everyone! It's been so interesting to hear about this, since our rush is so different. Way to go Theta and everyone else! I hope everyone has a great bid day!

I think this great rush is a testament to how a great collegiate Panhellenic should work. Everyone does well and pledges great girls. Congratulations to Auburn Panhellenic.
