Not a great movie.
As I walked out I predicted (accurately) that there'd be a big to do about the portrayal of offensive negative racial stereotypes. Not like that was a tough call to make.

Liked it. Kid liked it. (Although he came out knowing a few new cuss words...)
Too long... But, getting to see Shia all grown-up AND Josh Duhamel made up for it.

I'm going to see it this weekend. Based on the posts, sounds like a DVD rental.

It's worth seeing in the theater. But it's no Transformers 1. The fight scenes are amazing. The CGI are amazing. The plot is sincerely lacking. But not bad enough to skip unless you have a damn good tv/sound system for the DVD.

I really enjoyed it but I don't think it lived up to the hype it generated.

Wow, I really, really loved it. Like, I liked it better than the first. And it was a bit long, but it wasn't one of those movies I was sitting there checking my watch the whole time and thinking "When is this going to end already?" Even with Megan Fox, I still give it two thumbs up.

I saw it when it came out on Wednesday and I will admit that the movie seemed to go on forever we went to a 7:30 show and came out at 10:10. The movie was almost too funny and I thought the excessive cursing was a little out of the way...other than that, GREAT MOVIE!

I really liked it. I do have a huge fondness for 80s toys, so I am predisposed to like it. But I knew the length of the movie going in, so it didn't seem long to me at all. I went with a couple friends to a midnight showing on opening day, in a mega screen digital theater that was completely packed. It was a great movie to see in such a setting!

I don't know why everybody is complaining. I think it was a pretty good movie and he did a good job. Granted Brother Bay did get a little bit slow-mo happy at a couple of points, but honestly, it's Michael Bay. Also part of the movie was filmed at Penn as well as Princeton. That party they went to was in the Tau chapter of his fraternity. He even made sure to show the nickname and badge of the fraternity for a good couple of minutes.

I'm getting ready to see the matinee shortly. I'll post my thoughts about it when I get back.
