Which colleges send the largest amount of recent graduates to a given city

So basically I am trying to find a report or a study which says:

1) A given college
2) How many recent graduates from this college relocate to a given city

Let's assume the city is DC, because it is.

Did that make sense? Like a top 25 list of which colleges routinely send their recent graduates off to DC for their first careers.

I don't know of a list but I would think a university with a highly ranked poli sci or foreign service program would have lots of young alumni/ae in the area ie Georgetown, GW, W&L. In terms of graduate schools of government, newly minted MPAs and MPPs might be arriving from Fletcher and Kennedy.

^^^ Thanks, that's what I was thinking as well -- but someone accused me of being a snob, LOL

I will look for undergraduate rankings for government, poli sci, and foreign service.

Or, you can get in contact with Alumni Relations at a given school (or find someone who went to that school to do it for you), since they track the top 5-10 cities their alumni end up in. I know for us, it's Boston, NYC, DC, San Francisco, and LA (in some order that changes depending on the year).

Have you tried calling your alma mater to ask if they know of a more efficient way? I'm always amazed at the weird statistics schools keep!
