I can't wait for this book! The author, Dr. Gregory S. Parks, is a BGLO scholar and 2008 JD candidate at Cornell Law School. He contributed to the first scholarly work on the history of BGLO's:
African American Fraternities and Sororities: The Legacy and the Vision by Tamara L. Brown.
The first book documented the history of BGLO's as a movement, in a scholarly way that no book had before. It answered or provided insight into many of the how and why questions regarding BGLO traditions (so if you don't have it, please get it!).
