Fatal Stabbing of a Sigma Pi (Berkeley)

Very sad news; my condolences to the young man's family, fraternity brothers, and friends.

A CBS station in the Bay area reports:

Excerpt:
“Homicide detectives are close to arresting the suspect or suspects who fatally stabbed a University of California, Berkeley engineering student early this morning, a police sergeant said.
Detectives interviewed three witnesses who helped them get what is reportedly enough information to arrest those responsible for killing the 21-year-old Sigma Pi fraternity member, police Sgt. Mary Kusmiss said.”


The campus paper at Cal identifies the victim as Chris Wooton:
