what happens to a guy in a fraternity who lies to his own fraternity

im sorry if this violates some sort of brotherly code, but ive really been wondering this for awhile: what happens if a guy lies to his own brother about his personal life? i ask because my younger sister has this boyfriend in a fraternity. this kid is a real piece of work. for the past year and a half, he has been dating my younger sister. he is in the same fraternity as my boyfriend- i set them up little did i know he had issues. for the past year, he has been basically trying to make it seem as if my sister is madly inlove with him and that hes just tolerating her. i dont know why she put up with it but i decided not to meddle because she seemed happy and i figured, everyone mustve known the truth, anyway. well to make a long story short, it wasnt a joke. they got in a fight, over the summer and since then he has tried to make my sister look like some sort of stalker. and people believed him. my sister tried to break off contact with him and instead of being "glad", he kept calling her. finally, she went to our school's judicial affairs and the little psycho went to the cops and tried to make it seem like she was stalking him. long story short, she agreed to get back with him because he promised to change. but hes still telling people she was stalking him and the only reason he is dating her now is because the events of the last few months have made him fall in love with her. she doesnt know this, because my boyfriend convinced me not to get involved because itll just cause problems. problems for who- him? why not? what would happen if everyone learned the truth about this kid??
people dont realize, im kinda the crazy one.not her. everytime i see him and i listen to people refer to her as "the stalker who got lucky" i just want to hurt him.

She's your sister. You should probably let her in on all this stuff he's saying. I know I would've told her as soon as I heard it, regardless of whether my boyfriend said not to. It's pretty crappy that you didn't.

A fraternity can't take action against a member because of a dating related issue like this one. It's none of their business.

yeah, i know. i should have told her but i really figured shed eventually hear about it. besides, i told her he was bad news and she doesnt listen, anyway. everytime i have a suggestion, i get accused of being "jealous."

I don't really see what the fraternity has to do with anything in all of this.

News flash: lots of people tell lots of stories to friends and acquaintances to paint themselves in the best possible light. While I'm sure that you've given an accurate picture as you understand it, I'm still willing to bet that there's another side to this story. Certainly, I'll never know exactly what happened as their relationship played out. Even you as a fairly intertwined observer won't be able to really know the absolute truth of what's transpired.
