saying hi to everyone!
Hi everyone!
So, I haven't logged in a LONG, LONG time, and I just wanted to say hi! Thanks to everybody who still remembered me and wondered what I was up to -- you guys are all so sweet!
I'm a senior now at USC (Southern Cal)...time has passed way too fast! I just came back from an AMAZING semester abroad in England, where I got to travel all over Europe...needless to say, it was the time of my life! I am planning on grad school in psychology, but sadly, I'm not very sure about it anymore (even though I'm in my last year of college). I did not end up going Greek -- actually, never went through formal Rush at SC because of different reasons, but I think it was for the better, bc I don't think it was for me! But, I got very involved in school and ended up with lots of leadership roles...so that was great!
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I hope everyone is doing well.  Although I'm not planning to be on the boards much, I wanted to thank all of you who were so kind and so fun when I was an active member before!
P.S. By the way, although this has little to do with my post -- I am VERY excited for this upcoming football season, USC is on its quest for an unprecedented THREE-PEAT yay!!! GO TROJANS!

LOL. I'm a slave to GC. Anyway, dear god I must be old. newbie is a senior in college.

Newbie!!! It's so nice to see you back here! My God, you were just a little high schooler back then. I remember you and DeltAlum discussing where you were going to go to college. Wow, that's kinda scary how time has gone by.
Glad to hear that things have gone well for you! So going Greek didn't end up being your thing. Funny, I think every girl on here wanted you for her sorority. As long as you've been happy (and it sounds like you have been) that's all that matters.
I hope you'll stick around!!

Hi. Congratulations on your college career.
Our youngest (son) is also a senior this year (Oklahoma) and isn't interested in grad school. He pointed out the other day that this was his "last first day of school."
It occurred to me that it was the "last first day of school" for our entire family.
Talk about feeling old.

and umm...you guys could've taken it a little easier on the first game - what was the score - 63 to 17 over Hawai'i, I think - my Lord, that's just ridiculous.

Newbie!!! Thanks for checking in with us...I'm so glad to hear you're doing well. (Reading this thread made me realize I have been on GC too long. I remember when you were still considering where to go to college!)
