rushing as a transfer at Vanderbilt?

Hi! I am transferring to Vanderbilt as a junior in the fall. I know it is hard to get a bid as a junior in most southern school but is it impossible at Vanderbilt? I do not know anybody at Vanderbilt so I hoping becoming involved in greek life would give me a way to meet people. I will also be there for 3 years because a lot of my credits are not transferring. I am also wondering if they will look down upon the fact that I am from the north? Any advice would be helpful.
