Sibling Relationships
First my question(s): Do you have siblings? Are they brothers or sisters and older or younger? And finally, how is your relationship with them?
I was reading another thread where 33girl made reference to an ex who got the crappy end of the stick when it came to the way his parents treated him and his sister. I find I have a very similar problem with my older brother.
I have always felt like my parents have been way easier on him than they have on me. Given him more, coddled (sp?!?) him more and basically gave him everything he wanted and more, whereas I had to work for the things I wanted.
And yet, I have friends who have the most amazing relationships with their siblings. One thing I have found is that, in general, my friends who are the closest with their siblings are usually girls who have an amazing relationship with their sisters.
How has it worked in your families?
