Ummm . . . looking at the history of falls there, maybe they should put some safety latches on the upper story windows?

The falls seem to be unrelated to (just) having safety latches on windows.
What I find rather odd behavior, on all parties, is this:
"After the fall, the student was able to walk to a neighboring fraternity house and knock on the door, Franco said. Members there returned him to the Sigma Phi Epsilon house, where they called for medical assistance."
I can understand someone who is "under the influence" being rather confused while hurt but if I had a person in that kind of state of mind and injured at my front door I would call 911 first then wonder where he came from.

And the article says he hurt his back - ??? - and was still able to walk? OUCH. Guess the alcohol numbed the pain.

when I was in School, the Beta house had a flat roof. After ump-teen brother fell off of it (three stories high), they finally put up a pitched roof. No fall since.
I know housing associations always want a house to have a specific look, but they almost need to "baby-proof" them. You know, safety latches.

Oh my, I can't believe this got posted to greek chat!
I agree, when I heard about this my first reaction was dear God, put latches on the house's windows already! Granted, the ATO guy fell from a fire escape....
