I made it through the 12th Gate
Brothers, last night I embarked on my Journey through the Twelfth Gate of our ancient city...the semester-long wait was well worth it, and I realize now more than ever just what Kappa Sigma is all about. I'm proud to call each of you my brothers now...
Unfortunately, even though I am now worthy to wear the Star and Crescent, I will not recieve mine for 6-8 weeks because they are on backorder (it's the simple design! you think they would have some in stock!), but all is well, as it's off to EBay I go (lol).
I've been waiting an entire semester to find out what this means and to say it, so now I will:

Congratulations Docetboy!
I was wondering when your initiation was...
Congratulations on experiencing the mystical bond that all Kappa Sigma Brothers share.
I am sure you are pumped that everything you learned as a pledge finally came together for you on initiation day, and you finally learned that AEKDB doesnt mean -After Every Kiss Drink Beer or Always Eat Kappa Delta Bush.
Congrats again on this accomplishment.

Hey -- my boyfriend said the same thing when I asked what the initials meant. He's Lambda Zeta (Virginia Commonwealth Univ.) Where're you from?

Everyone say congratulations to Gamma-Nu Chapters two newest brothers, Jeff Atherly and Derrick Priest...their childhood friendship has grown into becoming brothers...
Jeff was a pledge at Gamma-Chi (KState) before transferring to Washburn University, so he has had an entire year of pledging at two different chapters.
It's nice being able to say to them after this long wait, A.E.K.D.B.

Never heard that one, but it would definitely have been bad advice at my U.

Congratulations. I made that step well quite a while ago. I'm now a AAA and am sure many of you will take the brotherhood into post-undergrad life.
