Menu Inspiration

Hi. I cook for a sorority house at UNC. I try not to get into ruts serving the same menu over and over, although you have to repeat certain favorites. I would love to hear from some girls, both active and alum, with their favorite meal from their days in their sorority. I need some inspiration. And I need vegetarian friendly ideas too. Can you Help?

That's because you misread her: It's hawaian potato, not Hawaiian potato.

Personally, I'm intrigued by the "vegitables with damblings"; the "vegeballs" sound a bit offputting, though.

Greekchef, sorry I can't help much on the vegetarian ideas, though I think you got some good ideas in the other thread. The one suggestion I have is to consult the Moosewood Restaurant cookbooks. Good luck.

This trick's not for real. I don't buy it.

I appreciate all ideas graciously offered. And the Bread bowls with 3 chilis sounds super. I bet our LC will really enjoy it.

I do have the same thread going under greeklife because I didn't realize I was starting this under SSS. But I really am interested in new ideas. Thanks and keep it coming.
