The thread on the passing of the AEPhi was getting cluttered with off-topic hijacks, so I thought I'd start this out of respect for the deceased.
I can remember coming home from a Recruitment event, and as I had a protection order at the time, called my mother to tell her that I was close to home. We talked a few minutes, and she said, "I have some bad news, but I don't think I should tell you while you're driving." WHAT?!?!?!? As if it was going to help me NOT speed home as quickly as possible!!
Yes, there was a death in the family, and yes, she is still teased about "I better not tell you while you're driving..."!
