Sponsorship letter

Has anyone written a sponsorship letter to alumni or other companies to help fund the event? I'm currently in the process of writing one for my philanthropy in the fall. If you have written one, would you be able to post yours as an example to work off of.

Also, how successful are these usually?

I wrote one last year to a company and they have been sponsoring my organization ever since. PM me for more information. F.Y.I. as most people of the forum will tell you, you must ensure that the company or alumnae that you are reaching out to are benefiting from this opportunity. Particularly companies, in regards to Alumnae it should be somewhat easier.
