Happy Thanksgiving to all my Theta sisters!

It was a good day... dinner at the in-laws was yummy and no leftovers in my fridge!

Yes how was everyone's Thanksgiving? Mine was pretty normal. I've taken over as the Kitchen Guru in my family... well except for the turkey (the rest of my family are omnivores); my step dad does the turkey. Other than that... mashed potatoes from scratch, yams, assorted veggies, cutting the jellied cranberry sauce into those weird little disks (yeah I know, but for some reason I can't get enough of the stuff.); that's all me. It was kind of hard this year though because my sister has mono right now, so she wasn't allowed near the kitchen. All in all... pretty normal. Anyone else have stories to share?

Well we've had three thanksgiving dinners

The first one was at my fiance's( Paul) sister's new house with her husband's family and paul's family there. There was a lot of food, wine, beer(we're all catholic). I would name all of the food other than the turkey but she had a few new concoctions if you will. They were quite tasty, but I dont know the name of what they were

After that, we went to my sister's apartment where we visited with my sister, her cat, dad, and my cousin. My mom has been in very bad health lately and wasnt able to come.

The second dinner we had here at Paul's with him, his three awesome children, the dogs, and myself. So on that menu we had, wine for us, sparkling cider for the kids(they were very excited about that and the use of the good china and crystal), deep fried turkey, macaroni and cheese caserole, sausage balls, stuffing, pumpkin pie(Paul makes prize winning pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake), rolls, corn pudding, and gravy. Paul also made mashed potatoes, but he had them warming up in the microwave and then forgot they were in there till after we ate. I took a plate of all the food to my mom so she could have turkey on thanksgiving anyway . After the kitchen was clean, Paul took the kids go-karting with the new two-seater go-kart that Paul's dad got them.

Another thing that happened is that we took a picture of Paul's male toy yorkshire terrier (Bailey) sitting at the table eating small bits of turkey off his plate. Staged obviously but cute and funny nonetheless The female yorkie, Sophie, was too scared to sit at the table so she kept jumping off, but she got some turkey too!

Then today for dinner, Paul and I had leftovers from yesterday
