Rediscover the Drive in

Hey all.. just thought I would drop this one on ya....

next time if you are passing thru maryland or if you have one in yor neck of the woods....and you need an alternate movie experience...try the DRIVE IN.

Yes they still have them!!!

I recently found out that there was still one here in Northeast Baltimore that I haven't been to since I was a kid...

here is the link: The Benjies http://www.bengies.com/Home.php

Nice and Nostalgic....pretty decent food...had a comedy around 8 then Iron Man at 10 and then a nightcap movie around midnight....

Indiana Jones is supposed to be showing next week and they are supposed to be doing an dusk til dawn marathon...

They even had old trailers, PSAs from the 50's and cartoons between each....so if you get a chance...check it out or see if you have one in your local area.

My wife comes from a small town in upstate New York, and there was a drive-in nearby where they went all the time. I think it's still up and running, and just as possible as the indoor theaters.

There is a drive-in less than 5 miles from where I live. I've never been there but Mike & I talk about going there just for fun. I have great memories of watching movies at the drive-in when I was a little girl. I always thought drive-in pizza with extra jalapenos was the best!

The last one that I'm aware of in the Denver area closed recently.
