Give up on the craziness. You aren't going to get away with it a second time. Stay low key for a few years. Chapters change over the years, that's a fact. Hell, MY chapter is different from the one I pledged and I'm a junior. It's totally cool, that's the way it goes. Nothing wrong with going from craziness to respectable.
Here's the problem with off campus parties. If you go to an apartment leased by brothers, have a party, that will, whether intentionally or not, be associated with your organization, and fall off the balcony, the fraternity will be blamed, guarantee it. Or if a girl gets something put in her drink, or someone gets alcohol poisoning. It's on your chapter. So just chill. The best way to market yourselves is to be different. So just be the low key chapter for a few years. Work on getting highest GPA, winning intramurals, having the most community service hours. Find a different niche.
