Hope I am not repeating a post- I searched-
Not the movie but the song and video. I am not trying to be mean but Christina A. looks sickening- she is so skinny that she looks silly trying to be seductive.

The other women look so beautiful in the video- Christina just looks like a 10 year old girl!

I know many 10 year olds who look better than that!!! I don't know of any parent that would let their 10 year old have big hair like that.

Mya look great in that video..Pink didn't quite cut it with that long hair..and well, Lil Kim's used to being naked anyway.

On the radio this morning the DJ said that he couldn't believe that Mariah Carey was left out of that pack. Oh well.

It comes out this weekend in LA and New York and June 1st everywhere else.

The movie comes out on June 1st. It looks like it could be really good. I wanna get the soundtrack just because of "Lady Marmalade".

OTW- when I first heard the song- I thought it was Mariah singing! I feel C.A. has totally copied Mariah's singing style (even the hand movements when she hits the high notes) - that there must be some riff between the two.

You know - I sound like I hate Miss Christina- I don't - she is on the ad campaign for my FAV soda - diet coke!!!

But girl- why do you even wear garters in the video- you have no butt to hold up!! ha ha

Hey, I am stealing this from MTV, but doesn't Christina in that vid. remind you of Dee Snyder (of Twisted Sister fame)? Just put the tv on mute, and you can almost hear, "We're not gonna take it! NO! We ain't gonna take it! We're not gonna take it...anymooooooooore.."

I agree with you about Christina. Even though I like her I do think she has ripped off a few of Mariah's trademarks, like the hand thing. She can't quite hit the high notes as well, though. I could be biased since I'm a big Mariah fan. I don't know about Christina, but Mariah says that she doesn't have a problem with her. And yeah, her garters weren't holding up anything. Did you also notice that she always wears tops that push up what little cleavage she has?

i think the song is wonderful!! they all did a really good job to me. i think if mariah scarey, oops i mean mariah carey were on the song, she would just ruin it.(i'm not a m.c. fan).

now, for ms. aguilerra, i feel she has the soul of a 45 year old black woman from alabama!! that girl can sang!!! but, she is so tiny. in the video, she looks so to' up from the flo' up that she makes me want to thro' up (i stole that one from shenene

I don't like any of them. I don't like the song. I don't like M.C. or C.A. or any body else in the song. It is a horrible re-make and I am ashamed that little children are going to think they are all gods because they are on MTV. MTV has gone down hill. What ever happened to the good old days of Remote Controll and Unplugged. This stuff now is not music. It is manufactured chart toppers to make money. There is no love for music anymore. If you can't play an instrument or write your own songs you are a poser. There are thousands of people that can sing and dance better than any of the retards on MTV.

And better yet, there are actually people out there who create music. Isn't that a swell idea.

I remember seeing some interview with C.A. where she said something about idolizing Mariah Carey. That would totally explain why she copies everything Mariah does. But I do think the girl can sing... she just needs to get her own style.

I agree with you except I must admit I like the remake. I think their harmony is very good and the music is tight. While I don't like rap much, I like Lil' Kim's part and I think they all sound pretty good vocally. But again I do agree with you overall about the state of music.
