Heres the dealio. I decided to keep it on the dl with Terin, just hang out, friends with benefits. I am diggin on someone else anyway, and Julie is just for fun - for both of us. So then I am trying to identify all my feelings and I get THE email from the past. You know the one, the person you really had the feelings for, and for whatever reason, it just didnt work out. You drifted apart. YadaYadaYada. Then you are sitting at work, on lunch, minding your own and you see it sitting there in your inbox. An email from them. You're like what do they want? Ya open it and ZOINKS the feelings so come back, but you remember why you left in the first place <Gloria Gaynor disco queen singing in the background, "Now go, Walk out the door, turn around now, 'cause youre not welcome anymore">, but you did like them, and at one time you fell for them HARD, and their email says, (direct to yall folks, cut and paste kinda stuff) "Hey you cuitie,

So you're all Mr. Man now with the truck huh? I always thought you were, you didn't need a
truck. Things
for me are going pretty well these days. I am still at the store and
business has been awesome but we are closing for renovations from July 2-
labor day so i'm going to have a lot of time on my hands. School, don't ask,
I screwed up and won't be getting my degree until August, if i'm lucky, could
even be December in a worst case scenario situation.
So do you think you would like to hang out sometime? I have really missed
you alot. I was just confused about alot going on in my life. So here I am
in this big house, with my basset hound and working in my garden.

AUGH! What do I do? Go for dinner, but play like I am not interested. Am I interested? Do I want to invest again? Would it be different this time? Is the playah just playing to see if they still got the game?

If you are not going to screw up a "real" relationship, and yo can go over without getting stars in your eyes, I would say go.

Also, a last fling with an ex does wonders for getting her out of your system.There is a term for it in boy parlance but it escapes me right now.

Hey LIfesaver,

I would go and see if those feelings are for her or if your just lonely in your present relationship and are looking for a way out. I think a dinner could not hurt just make sure that these feeling are serious before you took it back to a relationship. I hope this helps.
