AUGH!!! Not my new truck!!!
After 10 years of driving a hoopdie (sp) I buy a new truck 6 weeks ago. Last night it got the CRAP pounded out of it by a hail storm. We never get hail storms here in San Antonio. Busted a window, and ruined my hood and roof, and shattered both headlites. Probably about $2000 in damage. A few brothers were at my apt studying for finals and they got pounded too. At least I have insurance, but my deductable is $500.

Ew, what bad luck!! We almost got a few twisters here in Oklahoma again last night...fortunately, nothing happened compared to the May 3rd tornadoes of two years ago.

Thats crazy. Sorry about your truck man. I know how that crap feels. I got a new boat 3 weeks ago and the first time out on it I dropped both sets of keys into about 300 foot of water. Nothin left but me and the ol trolling motor.
I hear talk that those stroms that ripped through Texas are supposed to be heading this way.

Hey lifesaver, I know the feeling. Although my car isn't knew it was damaged during a massive hail storm last week. The hail started out marble size then grew to golf ball size. Worse yet, my car insurance had just expired. Oh well, just dents...nothing I can really do about those.

Aw Lifesaver, I'm so sorry about your truck. But that's why you have comprehensive coverage. Those pesky "acts of God" can be so darn costly!
Hootie! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me you got your insurance reinstated! I talk to people all day whose insurance has lapsed. Insurance companies penalize you big time for it!

Yes, I got it reinstated this past week. No problem although I didn't talk to my insurance agent about the damage yet because I'm afraid of getting my head chewed off. I was too stressed with finals to have that. But thanks for your concern.
