Pi Phi in Seventeen Magazine
Seventeen did an article in their September issue called "Girls Gone Greek." One page covered "the good side" and the other page covered "the bad side" of Greek life. The good side featured the following quote:
"I lived in the Pi Beta Phi house for two years, and I know that all 129 girls in our chapter would be there for me in a heartbeat. We had amazing times at formals, hayrides and teaming up with fraternities for parties, but it was the little things that bonded us. We would read to kids biweekly, rent out a movie theatre and eat popcorn in our pajamas or have TV nights with a bunch of girls. My sorority is exclusive - we pick girls who meet high moral standards - but it's for a reason. Not every girl has the same connection to each other and I would never want someone to join and feel she didn't belong. Not everyone finds her place in a sorority, but it's so worth it when you do."
-Allison, 23, past head of Standards for Pi Beta Phi at Ohio University
They also mentioned Jennifer Garner as an alumna of Pi Beta Phi and used a picture with wine and silver blue balloons in the background. (This was all still on the good page, of course!)
