Respect for your brothers
Obviously, one of the most important responsibilities as a Knight is to respect and support your fellow brothers, and to never do them wrong. Unfortunately, this isn't always upheld. I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced anything like this.
Last semester my chapter had a weekend long retreat. During the period of time that the house was mostly empty, a "friend" of ours who is a member of another fraternity broke in with two Sigma Nus from another chapter (which I won't name). They tried to steal a bunch of composites and various other things, but were mostly thwarted by one of our brothers who was still in the house. So far, all of our efforts to identify the Knights who tried to steal our shit while we were away have failed.
This whole thing disgusts me on so many levels. I don't understand why anyone would want to do something like this to their brothers. Have you guys heard of anything like this happening before?

We've had other organizations break into our house and steal our things and unfortunately, in the past, a rogue candidate broke into every fraternity house on our campus, stealing their charters (this could have cost us our colony status if we hadn't handled it as we did). I don't think I could imagine what we'd do if a fellow Knight aided in this. Most likely, if their chapter didn't cooperate, I'd look to HQ for guidance. That doesn't sound like something that should be tolerated at all.

The candidate that stole all the charters - Wow. Whisper to him that I said he's a badass. But then in your regular speaking voice tell him "FOR SHAME!!!".
I was very idiotic and broke into a few of our greek row neighbors
I may have even taken something from another EN chapter I visited. I sent the item back after a week as I was shamed I did it.

Yeah, actually, it wasn't funny at all.. nor was it badass. When you're a colony, HQ wants you to get the approval of IFC before you get your charter. He put our whole colony in jeopardy of never receiving our charter.
You do have to give the kid credit for having nads 'o shining steel though. As the story goes, at Kappa Sig, he actually pried their charter off the wall with a crowbar while a Kappa Sigma brother was passed out in that room.

One year at a KE party I was with a EN brother and we were standing behind a small portable bar-counter top talking and drinking. It was loud and some KE brothers were sitting on a couch across the room watching us. This brother of mine (and yours) proceeded to unzip, piss on the back of the bar, and continue talking/drinking as if nothing was awry. We waited for him to finish and left the party. I felt sorry for the pledge that next morning that had to clean up.
