Concept borrowed from DST - Ghetto Fab
I just visited Delta Sigma Theta's thread about Ghetto Fabulosity and I asked a question. I thought I'd go ahead and open it up here as well so as not to hijack that thread.
I really didn't think this was all that odd but...
My ex's mother lived in public housing and, yes, he lived with his mama. In their bathroom was bathtub with no shower head. None of the houses on the block had showers at all, just bathtubs. So, to take a shower, we'd carry a pitcher into the bathtub and use that to shower with. Has anyone else done this?
And, after you check out the Delta Sigma Theta thread, are there any other things you did that people now consider Ghetto Fabulous that aren't listed in the quiz??

I scored a 79 on that quiz, then again, I got 20 points for the reusable bacon grease container that I still use & 10 points from the games I played & 10 points for running a race barefoot in the street. I don't understand why those thigns are "ghetto" I thought they were southern things. If you took away those points, it shows how white I am, or maybe I am just lying.
That was a funny quiz.

That isht has me CTFU!
I do have another one to add;
If you've ever been stabbed. (+5 pts) You get an additional 10 pts if it was with a broken beer bottle.
My old roomate was so ghetto. She has been cut, and it was with a broken bottle. She also lives in a broke down singlewide, but has a 72 inch TV. Couldnt keep a job past 3 weeks b/c thats when they process her background check and see that shes been on probation..... lol.
Gotta love her tho.

13. The batteries in you remote control ever been held in by a piece of tape. (5 points).
When I was a kid, I thought only rich people had remote controls for their tv.

When I was a kid (well, I kinda still am, but anyway, when I was younger), we had a remote control to the VCR...but it was one of those that was connected with a long cord. Everybody always tripped over it, but it was the latest thing when my stepdad got it in the early 80s and we all thought it was just so cool.
