Post Receipe Book

Okay well i need to stop posting new topics- i think im topic posting happy! Anyway, i know i asked this just a few minutes ago in my other topic titled Munchie Time- but that really tends to be more like your favorite snack- this one is a little different. I know many of you read my receipe on Dump Cake and I was pleased to see that some of you actually tried it this weekend and ended up loving it. What are some of your favorite desserts- and let us know the receipe so we can all try it!!
If any of you didnt read my receipe on dump cake, here it is....
Try getting a rectangular pan, fairly deep- and layer the following items- DO NOT MIX...
on the bottom goes a can of crushed pineapple, juice and all- then a can of cherry pie filling, then a box of yellow cake mix (right out of the box)- finally place butter cubes on top. You can add walnuts to the top if you would like, i dont like them! Put in the oven for like 45 minutes at 375. You will know when its ready because the cake mix will be a golden brown and the butter melted! It is best to eat warm and with vanilla ice cream!! YUM!!!

Here's a recipe for MultiGrain Pancakes

Ingredients

2/3cups wholewheat flour

1/3cup all purpose flour

1/4cup (oat or cornmeal)flour (we used oat)

2Tbsp wheat germ

2tsp sugar

1tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

Mix together in bowl, then sift 2 times, the final time into the mixing bowl

Wet Ingredients

1cup buttermilk

1/2cup milk

1 egg white

1 egg

1 Tbsp oil

1/4 tsp vanilla

Mix until well blended and add to dry ingredients

Heat a medium skillet coated with non stick cooking spray. When skillet is warm, gently pour 1/3 cup of batter into the skillet. Allow the batter to cook on one side for 2 minutes. Batter will be bubbly and somewhat firm on the edges. Carefully using a spatula, flip the pancake on the other side. Allow it to cook on minute longer or until the steam subsides. Remove pancake from skillet and place on a serving plate. Repeate until all the batter is gone. Serve warm. You can keep the pancakes warm in a warm oven on an oven-proof plate
