I think stereotypes are funny and definitly true on certain levels...but at least get the fucking stereotypes correct when you are hating on someone!

Even the comparisons that are somewhat correct have so many non frat qualities it's not even funny.

Some of those are somewhat correct, but if anyone had frosted tips and gelled hair in my house, they would get their head shaved almost instantly.

I give the article a 7 / 10, good shot, but scuffed up the follow through.

I think The Heel Press needs editors.

I'm pretty sure that if any of our guys had any of the qualities displayed in the "Conventional Frat Guy" they would probably be taken out of the fraternities. Who in blue hell wears hollister except out West.

You serious? Everyone here in AZ wears Hollister and A&F - then again, I guess we're the west. Seems like West Coast has so much more...fun...than east coast (what with both the big cities of the east but with the beaches and surfing) - not that I don't love the east coast, I just personally prefer the west.

In terms of the article - very stereotypical...a lot of guys in my fraternity drink, I drink, but I don't get drunk (I don't have more than a few drinks), I think being sloppy drunk is pretty unattractive - then again I'm probably more of a conservative frat guy!

In GENERAL, Hollister is "not fratty" in the South. I personally don't know anyone who shops there other than high school kids. Abercrombie is a little better but it still is.... gelhead-esque?

Eh...well I work at A&F, very little though (pretty much only for a discount, once a week). My real job is at the University, I get paid much more.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that if I see an Eagle or a Moose on some kid during rush, I cut him.

That's a bit harsh...I'd say 85% of the guys on campus at UA wear A&F...I hope you're joking dude - especially if the guy works at A&F (like me) whose closet is almost all A&F - what's wrong with one brand of clothing? If you would truely cut someone purely because he wears a brand of clothing which you don't like, you're not upholding the standards of fraternal brotherhood. That's no reason to cut someone.

When I was active it was all about the polo's, khakis, and button down shirts. I recently saw some current members at the bar and they were dressed kind of faggy with the pastel colors and popped collars. The rainbow club members on campus look more masculine than the greeks. I don't know what the obsession with hollister is ( uglier than A&F but nicer than AE?)

A&F USED to be fratty like 6 or 7 years ago but they have definetly lost touch in recent times.

The class could start in your grammar, buddy - Just joking. I agree that A&F and HCo aren't classy, but for casual dress they aren't bad.
