Okay - I am sorry to admit that I haven't seen my badge in several years.

I don't believe it is "lost" - I moved somewhat frequently after college, and left some of my belongings in safekeeping at my parents' house. More likely than not, my badge is with some of my other treasured items/memorabilia from college at my parents' house. (At least I know its packed away safe and secure there - I had the pearl badge with Chi chapter guard and would hate to see anything happen to it! I just have to make the trip to my parents' house and go through my belongings which are stored there...which my mom has been hounding me to do anyhow now that I'm a homeowner and not moving from apartment to apartment anymore.

)
That said, in absence of being able to locate it immediately, I have been contemplating getting another badge. (I've heard of some sisters owning more than one, and am not aware of anything that would prohibit us from doing that?

) Thought about placing an order for a new badge from IHQ.
However, I've been toying with the idea of "rescuing" one of the badges for sale online. Part of me doesn't want to go that route b/c I don't want to further encourage these types of transactions. Then another part of me figures that the badges are going to go on sale anyhow, whether I like it or not, and better to have the badge in a sister's hands. (The thought being that if I'm going to acquire a 2nd badge, perhaps its better to have it be a "rescued" one.

)
Still a little torn about the idea though - what are your ladies thoughts on "rescuing" badges?
(Perhaps I should just make the trek to my parents house and "rescue" my own

, but even if I ultimately decide to do that I'm still curious to hear your thoughts on badge rescues from eBay and the like...)
