“Project Greenlight” – Do you watch it?

Well since this is the only reality show I watch and there’s no thread for it yet, I decided to make my own. So does anyone watch it?

It's my new favorite show-- I watched a few episodes last season, but I didn't see the last few episodes. Last year I thought Jeff was the biggest idiot! But this year he seems more on top of things-- now he can tell the newcomers what to do since he's not in their shoes anymore. I do not like Kyle and Effram and would not have chosen them to direct. The way that Ben, Matt, and Chris were talking after they met the directors, I thought they were going to go with Dagen or Joe. Kyle and Effram are just way too passive and that meeting with Sharon Lawrence was so awkward. I'm so addicted to the show because I want to work on a movie set doing anything!

It's on HBO on Sunday nights, I actually look forward to it more than Sex and the City! They also repeat the episode during the week at night.

I saw a couple of episodes last season but didn't really get into it. But this season I got hooked after the second episode. I don't like Effram at all. All he seems to do is whine. When he brought up the whole car thing during the meeting, I was like you've gotta be kidding me. So not the time. And why did he spend 3 hours at the dealership. Hello? You need to be working on your movie. The whole Jane Kazmareck thing was crazy too. To even consider quitting over her is ridiculous. It's so funny to hear how half of Hollywood has passed on doing this movie.

What really drives me nuts is how they tried to finagle full control of the script because they just couldn’t direct Erica’s vision but yet Effram is two hours late for the script review meeting.

*bump*

Is anyone still watching the show? I missed the last episode, but I'll be watching tonight. The Battle of Shaker Heights comes out this Friday-- is anyone who has been watching Project Greenlight going to see the finished product? I think I will, though the short description I read in the paper today didn't seem too appealing.

I'm still watching the show. I wonder how the movie will turn out since there seems to be this big issue about the tone of it--Miramax wants a comedy but the directors want a drama. I might go see it, though. By the way you didn't miss much with the last episode. Kyle and Efram were acting like idiots and the test audience didn't score the film that highly.

I'm still watching. It's like a step by step guide what not to do in Hollywood. I’m not sure if I’ll be seeing it or not but from what I saw in the editing and the screening it might be something I like.

Yeah, I've been taking pointers... I've always wanted to work in movie production doing anything... now I'd want Jeff's job!
