I'm the new PR chair for my chapter and I need some good ideas for this year. Aside from the usual wearing the letters with pride, does anyone else have any ideas for me?

Always make sure to utlize your national officers such in the public relations and recruitment departments or even your collegiate coordinators.

Some great PR ideas besides wearing purple or letters:

Everyone wear a Sigma button one day.
Designate days to wear letters and a day to wear badge attire.
Everyone use a Sigma pen or purple pen that day
Chalk the sidewalks on campus (check with your campus)
Paint the campus purple! (post fliers all over campus)
Have a table in the center of campus or union, just have Sigma info on it.
Hold a reception for faculty on campus
Put an article in your student newspaper congratulating your new members or women who have great GPA's
Do something fun on your campus radio or TV station
Sponsor an event for other sororities or just make a recruitment event.
Give out buttons or pins with beads on them
Put a banner on the front of your house or residence hall
Have a display in the union and the story of Billie Letts and info about the movie "where the heart is".

There are a million things you can do! Just get out there and do them.
