The Big 10 Challenge

Just wondering if any alumni of the schools in the Big 10 (11) (Purdue, Minnesota, Michigan State, Michigan, Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Penn State) have participated in this. It's a challenge to see what school can get the most money donated to it from its alums.

1. Penn State University....... 12.47%

2. Purdue University......11.35%

3. University of Wisconsin......7.36%

4. Michigan State University......6.94%

5. University of Iowa......6.80%

6. Indiana University......5.80%

7. University of Michigan......5.00% (Our money goes to the athletic deptartment )

I wonder why there are eleven schools in the Big Ten?

The conference was known as the Big Ten since 1917. Penn State joined in 1990 making eleven teams, as you can see there is an 11 in the logo.
