Okay. I know Sorors in Des Moines. I don't know how far that is, but I can pass the information along.

That will be great...I will have to check to see how far it is also. She has a car so it shouldn't be to much of a problem!

Thanks Soror!

Thanks Soror!
My daughter's paternal family lives in Sioux City there is a core group of "us" there whose generations have lived their all of their lives.

it is closer to Omaha (97 miles) than Des Moines (200 miles.) YOur best bet would be to talk to your chapter president who should have the Sorority directory CD to see if there is a chapter in Omaha. Otherwise check the Central region's website.

ETA: There are Omaha Alumnae and Lincoln Alumnae (151 miles.) the contact info for both chapters can be found on the Central Website.

I got this information by going to a map of IA on MapQuest and noting the location of Sioux City v. the closest other "major" cities. I then went to the Central website (via the national website) and saw what chapters were in IA and NE, I then went back to MapQuest to get the distances between those cities with chapters and Sioux City.
