Talking how did AZD help you?

Hey, all
New to Greechat.
I just went alumn from Alpha Xi Delta this past month and it was a really hard decision to make.
I had been grappling back and forth and finally I had to make a decision and I did.
Alpha Xi Delta was an absolutely amazing experience. I became a member during a horrific part of my life. In fact, the day I signed my bid, had been probably one of the worst days in my life...but signing that bid and becoming a sister brought some light.
Then the rest of the time I really truly learned what being a sister meant. Without any of them there for me, I don't think I could've made it through what I did and be where I am today...set to graduate next semester.
They helped me in more ways then words could ever explain. They were the ones who got me through everything. And still do. My big, especially, was absolutely amazing.
Without my sisters, I honestly don't think I would be where I am today. They also made my college experience absolutely amazing.

Anyone else out there think Alpha Xi Delta is the best?

You know, I don't know if I realized at the time how much AXiD helped me. After I graduated though is when I really started to realize it. My first few years I went back and forth on turning in my pin and quitting but then between my Soph and Junior year attened TLC and something clicked there and I started giving my absolute all to the chapter. I served as Programs VP and being on the Exec board I think is what helped me the most. I learned from that, that you will never please everyone, I learned how to take a stand for what I believe in and most of all I learned to have confidence in front of a large group of people.

I don't think I would be who I am in life without the chapter. My fiance is a GDI and doesn't understand that in the least but I really don't know where I would be without Alpha Xi. I miss the chapter so much and am trying to find ways to get involved with the chapters near me just so I can try to help others like me.
